I have often wondered, is there anything “actually” good to eat in the airport? Yeah yeah I know that you can find something, but what if that something was great? Airport these days are obviously become modern marvels, they are expensive, ranked and rated on their luxury, speed of entry/ exit and…

This is a good question. One that I ironically was thinking about during my current journey to Canada.

I’ve traveled a lot, especially for still being relatively young. Most of the time I would travel with a team and some of my greatest times were in the airport.

Once, we had to sleep in one overnight in Jacksonville because we were coming from Nicaragua. We had wheel chair races, some how we created a make shift ball out of paper, and proceeded to play baseball with it. We chucked the wad with a miniature baseball bat and slammed it into a window, each other , and almost a passing flight crew.

In all of my travels I remember the games and silly things we did as girls do, but I still remember airport meals.

The food is not that amazing. Your right about that. But sitting in the airport alone grabbing a bite before my plane just isn’t the same to me now. Like any good meal, the company you share it with make it awesome. I get to meet up with friends after the flight, but I think having someone to share the bad food and long layovers with makes the airport a memorable place
